Granny's Proud to be Ginger Rhubarb Crumble

Meanwhile, whiz the Proud to be Ginger Nuts in a food processor and when they are crumb-like, add the melted butter and mix to combine. When the rhubarb is cool, sprinkle the biscuit mix over the top.

Popeye Open Tart

This is a firm favourite in our house and so simple to do. It's fast, simple & effective. The Harissa gives it a little zing and a great taste dimension! Try replacing the chicken with prawns or flaked salmon!

The real deal Curry in a hurry!!!

This is a fab quick and easy Curry. Credit goes to Mr. Vikkis for this one.

Cumbrian Rarebit

This classic Welsh offering has had many variations over the years, from a plain and simple whack cheese on bread and grill, to making a roux, boiling milk and getting very creative. Our version is pretty simple and is designed to be a quick supper, or just something you can whip up when you have unexpected guests turn up hungry on your doorstep! Enjoy!

Hot Goan Lamb

This is incredibly simple yet so effective and tasty for little effort. A big thanks to our friend Mr. Vikkis for the recipe all credit goes to him, but it's just too good not to put on our site. Serve with a savoury rice, Cous Cous salad, or use as a luxury sandwich filling!

Marmalade Baked Ham with a hit!

This is our version of a classic Roast Ham. This method is tried and tested and we serve the non Schnapps version in the shop! If you don't drink then just leave out the schnapps.

Prawn Cocktail for Adults

This is my take on a simple classic. Dead easy to put together and I have adapted some of the components using what we stock in the shop. This is awesome placed in the middle of a nice fresh Ceaser Salad. Serve with a chilled glass of your favourite white wine or a nice home made Mojito. A real crowd pleaser!
